Sunday 3rd April 2022 Kirkgunzeon.

These Northerly winds seem to be holding back migration. My first Chiffchaff of the spring singing near the old railway bridge and a Raven croaking overhead. A pair of Oystercatchers are the first waders I have seen here in 8 mths. Inland D&G is devoid of breeding ground nesting birds like Lapwing and Curlews. Chris Baines
