Walk from Newbie Barns to the River Annan this afternoon turned up 8 Grey Plover accompanied by a small group of Turnstones. Single BT Godwit upstream with the Redshanks. 23 Goldeneye. Very inquisitive Grey Seal still in the River despite relatively low tide.  Mick

I flushed a Jack Snipe and 41 Snipe yesterday while checking out an area of management I conducted earlier in the year at RSPB Wood of Cree along the river near the main car park. Also goldeneye, teal, moorhen and mallard from the Otter Platform, redwing everywhere as are jays moving back and forth seemingly constantly. Gavin
