A breezy Corsewell Point was hard going with very few auks moving, a steady trickle of gannets, all three divers, a couple of Fulmar, only three Manx Shearwater, a single Arctic Tern about 50 Sandwich Tern and a few Common Tern. Back at the Wig a few mergs out on a choppy Loch Ryan and after four hours at Corsewell hoping for some skuas, there was a dark phase Arctic chasing a small group of terns. Not much on the landward side but a Hooded Crow was observed flying off to the north as well as the ever present hybrid. Ivan Lang.
