As reported on BirdGuides, GWE today from Saltcot Observatory Tower hide. First seen to the east on the merse but later much closer & straight ahead from the upper level. About the same location Marsh Harrier goes to ground & out of sight, which another visitor reported as showing well today, though I saw it not. PJ
A strong NW wind brought a steady stream of Gannet, Kittiwake and auks southwards, otherwise birding was hard work highlights 2 Little Gull, a late Little Tern, small number of Manx Shearwater, a possible Balearic and a larger Shearwater spp, a single very distant Arctic Skua and small number of Eider. Saturday. 1 at Barnskirk Point on river Annan, with 3 Dunlin and the army of Redshank that frequents here, Also notable were 3 Greenshank and 30 odd Black-tailed Godwits. Bill Jamieson.

50 pinkfeet southbound high over Gatehouse of Fleet this morning. Iain Bainbridge. 46+ Pink-feet seen distantly on the mudflats off Crook of Baldoon - same flock? No sign of Scaup on the lagoons, just a couple of Tufties. Nigel Willits.
