Carse Bay & Carsethorn

Ever the optimist.... 

1545 - 1730 falling tide;

Great visibility this afternoon. 

Carse Bay & Carse Gut 

1 ad winter med gull - nice to see again;

1 black-tailed godwit;

1 peregrine -  on the merse again, looking for a meal;

Couple of pink-foots;

4+ little egret;

2 roe deer at least on merse. 

Carsethorn

c20+ swallow - hawking around;

1 autumn wheatear - (pic) female I think trying to feed around gardens but busted right leg clearly a real hindrance (hence pic!). May not make it out of the village methinks;

1 chiffchaff - in shore gardens. 

No scaup or knot as yet. Rain stopped play.
