Carsethorn - Borron Pt WeBS


Managed to get it done before the rain. A cold ½°C.

Interesting to see how much sands have been shifted "from here, to there" whilst walking the shore. Just one barnacle corpse being predated by crow but another bird not very active on the shore, maybe on the way out. However, geese clearly in adjacent fields... 

Nothing unusual found, though you don't scrutinise when WeBS-ing! Don't have time.

Generally low numbers, again.

Several bar-tailed godwit 
1 rt diver 
1 snipe 
Dozen+ grey plvr
11 knot

No scaup seen today.
