Loch Ken/Ken Dee

A WeBS count of RSPB Ken Dee and southern end of Loch Ken this morning produced some nice figures, highlights:

11 Whooper Swans, 179 Mallard, 153 Teal, 73 Wigeon, 6 Pintail, 67 Greylag Geese, 244 Canada Geese, and 115 Greenland White-fronted Geese (from Ken Dee car park).

Also amongst the Canada's was what appears to be a Richardson's Canada Goose, though its wild origins are a little suspect given who it is hanging out with. Seen on Loch Ken (NX6881069979) between the reserve and Loch Ken Holiday Park
