Caerlaverock NNR & Kirkconnell Flow

Castle Wood : Loads of Blackcap, Chiffchaff & Willow Warblers all in good voice. 1 early Grasshopper Warbler near the hide but no Garden Warbler yet. Flooders Reedbed : First Sedge Warblers displaying in reeds. No Reed Warblers yet. Kirkconnell Flow : Crossbills still around but young becoming independent now so not as nosiey a spectacle.
