Carse Bay to Carse Pow walk

Shingle shore walk this pm;

3 whimbrel - 2 in Carse Pow low tide. Yep, it's that time of year. 

5 wheatear - 3m 2f. 

1 little egret. 

Cuckoo calling towards Criffel, believe I saw "a" cuckoo low-lying over fields towards A710 (falcon/hawk-like). Green Woodpecker yaffling in nearby wood copse back of the Pow. Also Pipits & Linnets, couple ringed plvr & dunlin. PJ
