Thursday 18th August; Caerlaverock WWT; Green Sandpiper still on Whooper Pond. Marsh Harrier, cream-crown hunting near Saltcoat Tower. Kestrel, 5 Little Egret & 42 Black-tailed Godwit plus 40 Curlew & lots of Snipe. Powfoot : 1600-1700; 50 Dunlin, 20 Lapwing, 20 Redshank & Grey Seal. Seafield : 1730-1800; 9 Commic Tern mid channel, 40 Lapwing, 20 Redshank.
Friday 19th August; Browhouses : 0900-1100; 1 Greenshank, 120 Lapwing, 110 Black-tailed Godwit,15 Ringed Plover, 40 Redshank & 4 Red-breasted Mergansers. Chris and Pat Baines
