Kirkgunzeon butterflies

Spring sees good numbers of Green-veined Whites and Orange Tips but summer just a few Small Tortoiseshells and Red Admirals. At Collin, Warrenhill Railway Bridge and Crossing, I am certain I saw Essex Skippers on the banking, but failed to photograph one. The grass was trampled down so perhaps they are known to be present there? Chris Baines
