Mystery Raptor

On passing Loch Kindar travelling along the A710, a large bird overflew the road ahead, heading inland towards the Loch. I thought it was a heron at first, judging by the lazy bow-winged flight. However, it clearly wasn't. All I could make out of a flash of the underwing was perhaps a buzzard-like dark outer primary tips pattern with a paler inner wing area. I couldn't stop straight away & I didn't have optics with me. Typical! When I could stop on the outskirts of New Abbey, the bird was too far away but continuing on a straight line, direct & purposeful lazy bow-winged flight. Very unlike a common buzzard & to me, too big for one. My only thought was possibly an osprey but the flight didn't seem right somehow but maybe. A goshawk perhaps? I'll not know unless there's a report of some large "different" raptor. Maybe just a big buzzard? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜”PJ
