Wigtownshire

Numerous Scotch Argus around Loch Derry Wigtownshire yesterday. A couple of golden ringed dragonflies, black darter and red darters too, plenty of "blue" damselflies and a few four spotted chaser. Abundant meadow pipit broods as well as a robin brood, 2 whinchat families on the adjoining moorland with scrub, and 2 teal on the loch. David H
