Crook of Baldoon, High Tide

Great White Egret still present, 5 Little Egrets, Grey Heron, Little Grebe, Shoveler, Pintail, Wigeon & Teal, 15 Pale-bellied Brent @RareBirdAlertUK Good numbers of waders on HT roost incl Dunlin, Knot, Golden Plover & our first Grey Plovers of the Autumn. Ringtail Hen Harrier gave a good display over the Merse. Small flock of Linnets and Skylarks. Apparently a couple of weeks ago a Glossy Ibis was on the reserve and photographed by local resident Ralph Harris. Chris and Pat Baines. (Ed.🙄, great news of historical sightings now gone😖.
