Pallid Harrier

02/10 10:09 : Point of Lag, Whithorn ; juvenile still over beach at St Medan Golf Club clubhouse (10:00). Per BirdGuides. Currently frequenting the gorse ridge south of the Gavin Maxwell otter monument. Also, peregrine, a wonderfully sunlit goshawk frequenting same ridge, plus merlin, sparrowhawk & 2 kestrels. Also, stonechats & at least 1 white wag on the beach. What a superb bird & fabulous day! PJ
