Visited last 2 days but poor timing & rough weather producing nothing unusual plus distant birds. A stonechat was west of the lighthouse yesterday in v rough conditions, plus golden plover. Typical wader mix but impossible to get a steady view of anything. Grey plvr, Bar-tailed Godwit, sanderling & usual winter others inc little egret. Same today but found washed-up dogfish? (small-spotted catfish, among other
names) in Mersehead Bay. Probably should've gone to RSPB Mersehead to sit in the hide. P
