Milton Loch ditches

On one of my round trips of the village the freezing weather brought some lovely surprises. With a frozen Milton Loch, the birds are feeding in ditches and flying off as I walk past. A Green Sandpiper, 4 Snipe, a Grey Wagtail & a feeding Water Rail with a Moorhen in the ditch by the road at the north of Milton Loch, 80 yds from Auchengibbert Farm (they didn't see me so I got views for 10mins - never had a Water Rail there before).
