Sad to report only 1 Purple Sandpiper found, initially on the rocks just off the lighthouse. Too rough at the point itself. Bird flew west, I refound it only for it to be driven off by a village dog owners bird-chasing mut. Nice to see the Respect : Protect : Enjoy poster initiative & message getting across. Luckily refound the bird at the 13th golf tee roost, amongst 3000+ dunlin, +knot & 32 golden plvr there. However, lost it among the throng but noticed a dunlin with some leucistic feathering on its mantle. PJ
