Around Southerness

Sat out extremely HT at 13th golf tee. A windblown "white arse" Wheatear shot by so fast I could only see it's, white arse! Didn't re-find it sadly. Found 4 Purple Sands, 1 Sanderling, 1♂️ Stonechat, singing Skylark west of lighthouse on way back. In Gillfoot Bay c20 Golden Plvr becoming summer plumage on receding tide. A couple of Grey Plvr at least still in East Mersehead Bay. Everything else was literally, blown away! PJ
