Mennock Pass, Nithsdale

2 Ring Ouzels seen in flight nr the top of the Pass. Several Wheatears, Meadow Pipits + Grey Wagtail on the river. 2 Buzzards displaying. Common Lizard basking in the sunshine in the grass at the side of the road. Drove back via Elvanfoot, which of course is in South Lanarkshire & saw more Wheatears & several displaying Lapwings & Oystercatchers. Chris & Pat Baines.
