Thursday 20th April 2023. Carstramon Wood SWT. Pied Flycatcher, Blackcap, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff & Great Spotted Woodpecker. Carsluith. Very few waders but 1 Whitethroat in the hedgerow. Crook of Baldoon. No Spoonbill but flock of Golden Plover, plus Grey Plover on the Merse. Garlieston. 7 Sandwich Tern & a few Gannets. No PB Brents. Isle of Whithorn. Whimbrel, Rock Pipit, Redshank, White Wagtail & Peregrine. Burrow Head. Gannets, Guillemot, Kittiwakes, Shag & Wheatear on the Headland. Kirkgunzeon. Wednesday 19th at 2030 Long-eared Owl flew over the Mossband park home site from the A711 towards the Village. Chris & Pat Baines. Ed. Super-sounding trip!
