Birdwatching and Ornithology Holidays in Dumfries & Galloway - Arbigland Estate

I've never encountered Wood Warbler, Corn Bunting, Goshawk & certainly not Lesser-spotted Woodpecker when exploring Arbigland Estate over 15 yrs. The latter would be a miracle or profound "unusual happening" at least! I'm not there 24/7 but I think these claims are rather suspect, except for historical records of Corn Bunting perhaps, a migrating Wood W & fly-through Gos. Lesser-spot at the bird table? I'd have to see that to believe it! "don't dismiss out of hand"?  https://www.arbiglandestate.co.uk/local-activities/birdwatching/

Beyond this, farm practices are to be applauded as they are singularly the only local farming concern which takes environmentally sensitive practices on board, as far as the eyes can tell.
