Loch Ryan

2 Com Terns in the harbour showing well (but despite slight black tipped red bill, latterly ID'd by boffins as Arctic!). At Bishop Burn 43 Red-breasted Mergansers. 2 Eider with 5 young & several Gannets. Skyreburn. Opposite the café, 1 Hooded Crow in the road. Chris & Pat Baines.

Ed. Perhaps it's the dark edge to the primaries but to me, legs look too long. What chance a hybrid? Anyone? P.
