"The role of county bird recorder (CBR) for Dumfries & Galloway has changed hands this summer. Paul Collin, who had been CBR (for Galloway and subsequently D&G) for over 30 years, has stepped down, to be succeeded by joint CBRs Gavin Chambers and Alyn Chambers, both experienced local birdwatchers.
