Loch Ryan

10th. An hour this afternoon at the end of Broadstone Road produced a nice range of seabirds. The highlight was a Great Northern Diver. Several male Goldeneye were present but no sign of the Barrow's allegedly seen a few days ago. Surprisingly no Slav grebes - I guess their preferred fishing grounds were elsewhere in the Loch today. Also seen: Guillemot, Black Guillemot, Razorbill, Red-throated Diver, Red-breasted Mergansers, Common Scoter, Eider, Cormorant, Shag. Nigel Willits.
