RSPB Crook of Baldoon
A bright but chilly day brought the reserve alive with birds. In the morning the Great White Egret was seen going south over the saltmarsh. The reserve was full of Fieldfare with a few Redwing and the odd Mistle Thrush. A small flock of Twite was seen a couple of times over the field north of car park, whilst around lunchtime a male Hen Harrier was hunting over the southern fields. At dusk two Barn Owls were hunting around the car park and two Hen Harrier over the southern fields. Ivan Lang.
