Around West Freugh, Soulseat & Castle Kennedy

17th. Various flocks of Pink-feet around the area, total in excess of 2500. The flock of White-fronts = 96+ & a single Barnacle. Sealseat was quiet with a few Tufted & Goldeneye. There were 4 Goosander on White Loch & a single on Black Loch but generally quiet. At dusk a Water Rail & 4 Woodcock. Ivan Lang. Ed. Many thanks to Ivan.
