14:00 - 15:30. Foreshore birds today included 2 Whimbrel, 1 Little Egret & c300 Knot. A welcome surprise was a single drake Scaup dallying along the tideline, as well as what I believe would be a bitch Otter & cub, giving excellent close views through the scope. Excellent clarity, until the haar rolled in. PJ
