Point of Lag, Monreith

13th. RNG proved elusive early morning. Four Purple Sandpiper were present close to high tide feeding on the beach opposite car park but were flushed by a dog towards the Point of Lag where they remained until after I left. Notably, well over 100 Golden Plover flew in from the south, circled around the point a few times and then headed out across Luce Bay. Rob Wadsworth.
