Crossbills

Bill Jamieson reports ; Crossbills again at Auchenroddan Forest, Applegarth. A flock of 26 this morning. Interesting variation of colour, with males ranging from a bright red to orange and 2 of the females showing a lot of yellow as opposed to green in the plumage, it's highly likely the same lot I ran into last week.
