Green Sandpiper

A bird & what looked like 3 young patrolling the muddy edge of the remaining open water in the "high tide flood field" for Cargen Pow, opposite Nether Cargen cottage, south side of Islesteps, A710. Also Lapwing & 3 young. Young sandpipers looking tiny in comparison! At least that's what I believe they are through 8x30's! PJ

Since returned with scope & what appeared to be young waders were more likely pale grey young Pied Wags! However unlikely, you realise how important it is to get a good view. At distance, you need a scope! PJ
