12th. In roadside trees, Simon Pinder saw a Little Owl along the B725, Hetland to Clarencefield road. Mr Baines saw an imm GND at Castle Loch. Also 4 GWE there.
2024 Birds and wildlife in Cumbria mentions just 1 pair of Little Owls in the whole of North Cumbria but not breeding! Only 20 plus records all year in Cumbria with no confirmed breeding!
