Lawrence Gray says; "I must admit it was the last thing I was expecting and it came as a bit of a shock. I suspect the bird had been roosting in the gardens/undergrowth behind Laigh Street when it was killed. The culprit is very adept at killing birds and other wildlife. A beautiful Sedge Warbler was killed last Spring by the same cat, just after it arrived back from Africa. God knows how many local Sparrows, Thrushes etc. have fallen victim too.〰️Wouldn't it be great if, like Australia, we introduced legislation, restricting cats to being indoors pets only."
