Glossy Ibis - recently "reported"

Message from Ivan Lang regarding this bird.  (The bird was/is) " Not a sighting but I echo editor's comments it is exceptionally important for the reserve to report sightings, especially unusual birds. Please either report through bird track or to the warden so sightings can be entered on to the reserve's database. If the person who recorded the Glossy Ibis could forward the photos it would be much appreciated ." Ivan Lang, RSPB Crook of Baldoon PJ ; If anyone knows Ralph Harris (the reported photographer), could they let him know of Ivan's request? I've no knowledge of him at all.

DGBN Blog ; Sending Messages

PLEASE READ WHOLE MESSAGE: Contact Forms: There's a continuing issue of messages getting stuck at the sending stage, or you get a "try again later" type notice. This is a common problem across Google Blogger blogs, which will hopefully be resolved without intervention from me. If it's the "try again later" notice, it's likely 1) a previous message sent needs to clear the blog before another can be sent, or 2) there may be background site crawling happening, causing a block on sending messages. Just a theory mind. However, please LMK if you're having such frustrating difficulties. Message me here . Many thanks, Pete.

Mystery Dove

Have visited again today, twice, met with Colin K & Martin from CD & we've not found this bird, despite searching the village & the continuing reports. We believe we have the right tree & have spoken to residents but none are aware of the birds presence. If still present, the bird may be using the rowan tree to just roost over night perhaps. Otherwise, the mystery persists. PJ
